After rigorous testing, we have found that stored in an airtight container our cupcakes stay fresh for two to three days... if you can keep them that long!

Can I store them in a refrigerator?

Cupcakes should be kept in an airtight container only as storing them in the fridge changes the texture of the sponge from its lovely light fluffiness to a rather heavier cake. The only exception to this would be when fresh cream or cream cheese toppings are used.. we suggest you eat them all right away ;-)

Can I be sure that high standards of hygiene have been used?

You certainly can! Jen's Cupcakery received the highest marks in its inspection, gaining a 5* Excellent rating for hygiene from Elmbridge Borough Council.

What is the size of your cupcakes?

Our cupcakes boast generous dimensions, usually around:

Curvaceous cupcakes = approx 55 x 33 mm

Petite cupcakes =  approx 38 x 28 mm

*Please note that our pretty cupcake cases are sourced from a number of different suppliers in order that we get the best variety and these sometimes differ slightly in size.

Is there a minimum order?

We would ask you to order a minimum of 12 of the bigger cupcakes and 18 of the petite ones please. Once tasted, you'll wish you'd ordered more!

Please note that on smaller orders - up to 12 curvaceous and 18 petite - we can only offer up to two different flavour variations.

Can you customise cupcakes to order?

We like to feel we are creative souls but yes, let us know what you want and we will do all we can to realise your dream. More intricate designs or bespoke creations will incur an extra charge due to extra time taken.

How quickly can I get my cakes?

Ideally the more notice you can give us the better as we make fresh to order but we will always try and fulfil urgent orders. Just give us a call.

Can you wrap them up nicely and deliver them on our behalf?

Absolutely! If you want to surprise someone with a lovely gift and they're based in the local area, we can wrap them up in a lovely box with bow and gift card (just £1.50 extra) and deliver them on your behalf.

Do you deliver?

Yes, we will deliver to local areas - Esher, Kingston, Thames Ditton, Hinchley Wood, Surbiton, Kingston, Chessington, Oxshott, Cobham, Claygate, Hampton Court, East and West Molesey - amongst others. Check via phone or email. Alternatively, we are happy for customers to collect from our base in Esher. Cost varies according to distance.

What about delivery outside the area?

We can send via courier but this will of course be an additional cost. Price on application. Although we package cupcakes as carefully as possible, we can't guarantee they will arrive as pristine as they left us which is why we prefer to deliver or customers collect. 

Do you have stands for hire?

Yes, we have a number of stands available for hire - these include 3, 5 and 7 tier acrylic wedding/party stands as well as more modern wire cupcake stands for 13, 24 & 36 cupcakes. Hire prices from £25 for a two day hire with a £35 refundable deposit on acrylic stands in event of damage.
